The Brooklyn Heights Cinema is an independently and locally owned and operated two screen cinema, located in historic Brooklyn Heights, steps away from Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Brooklyn Bridge and the views of the Promenade. Two 153 seat theaters rotate two or three hand picked films... art house, foreign and independent titles.
An unbelievably cool concession offers a cappuccino bar, cookies from Downtown Cookie Company, in addition to fresh popcorn with real butter, soda and a collection of fun candy. We even serve up a Brooklyn egg cream and the owners bizarre invention - chocolate coke!
Ticket prices are $11 adults, $8 seniors and children and $9 for college students with ID (Sunday through Thursday)
Weekday matinee's (before 4 pm) are $7.00 (except for Holidays)
The cinema hosts many independent film festivals including The Brooklyn International Film Festival, Brooklyn Film Race, and a selection of children's animated films from The New York International Children's Film Festival and special events including director's Q & As.
